The Clay Connection
714 E Sprague Ave, Spokane, WA 99202

Spokane's pottery scene is concentrated in downtown, the South Hill, Kendall Yards, and out in the Garland and Logan districts. Prices are friendly: drop-in classes from $40, six-week courses from $225-325. The community draws on the broader Inland Northwest craft tradition and Gonzaga and EWU ceramics roots, with several studios offering multi-level wheel curricula at prices well below the West Coast cities. Memberships with kiln access are widely available and affordable. Hand-building drops in easily; wheel throwing usually requires the intro class first. Date-night and drop-in classes are common downtown and in Kendall Yards. Kids programs run year-round at the community art centers. For longer study, the South Hill and Kendall Yards studios have the deepest multi-level progression.
