Sedona's pottery scene is small but disproportionately active for a town of 10,000, anchored by the Sedona Arts Center and a handful of working-studio galleries along the 89A corridor and in West Sedona. Prices skew toward visitor-oriented one-off workshops: half-day sessions from $75, multi-day intensives from $300. Most programming targets tourists and seasonal residents, so wheel and hand-building drop-in classes are easy to find, but multi-week progression courses are rare and fill quickly when offered. The Arts Center hosts visiting artist residencies and member kiln access. Kids programs run during summer and school breaks. For a casual afternoon, the Arts Center is the easy pick; for longer study, the Phoenix and Tucson studios two hours south offer deeper curricula than Sedona's small permanent community can sustain.
